Polymarket Becomes the ATP Tour's Official Prediction Market Provider — With Sportradar Supplying Integrity Monitoring
Polymarket has agreed a deal with Tennis Data Innovations, the ATP Tour's data and streaming joint venture, to become the tour's official prediction market provider. Sportradar — the dominant tennis integrity data provider used by UK bookmakers and the Tennis Integrity Unit — will supply official live data, odds, and integrity monitoring. The deal covers 20,000 matches per season. It is Polymarket's second major official data and streaming deal in two days.
Polymarket has agreed a partnership with Tennis Data Innovations (TDI), the joint venture between the ATP Tour and ATP Media Holdings, becoming the tour's official prediction market provider. US users will get live ATP Tour and ATP Challenger Tour streams integrated with real-time trading markets, with official data and odds supplied by Sportradar. The deal covers approximately 20,000 matches per season, including Indian Wells, the Miami Open, the Cincinnati Open, and the Nitto ATP Finals. 'By combining live ATP streaming with official data and prediction markets in one place, we're creating a more dynamic product allowing fans to experience and trade on markets relating to the game as it unfolds,' said Ari Borod, Polymarket's President of Sports Business Development.
For UK readers, the Sportradar component is the most significant structural detail. Sportradar is already the dominant commercial data provider for regulated UK bookmakers' tennis markets — William Hill, Bet365, Betfair, and virtually every other major UK operator settle tennis bets using Sportradar data. Its integrity services arm monitors ATP matches for irregular betting patterns on behalf of the tour and the Tennis Integrity Unit, which was established to combat match-fixing in professional tennis. UK bookmakers have been required to use integrity-monitored official data as a condition of their Gambling Commission licences since the OLGR framework tightened in the mid-2020s. Polymarket, which does not hold a Gambling Commission licence, is now using the same Sportradar infrastructure voluntarily as part of its official tour partnership — bringing its tennis market integrity framework closer to UK regulatory standards than its current legal status would require.
This is Polymarket's second major official data and streaming deal in 48 hours, following the Genius Sports partnership confirmed on 5 August for Serie A and dozens of other competitions. Both deals follow an identical template: official data for settlement, official streaming for a watch-and-trade product, and integrity monitoring integrated at the data provider level. The same Ari Borod quote structure — 'combining live streaming with prediction markets in one place' — appears in both announcements. On the same day as the ATP deal, Polymarket also announced a Yankees stadium sponsorship. Three institutional deals in two days points to a coordinated rollout, not opportunistic one-offs.
The Challenger Tour dimension is particularly notable for UK tennis followers. The Challenger circuit — the tier below the ATP Tour, where prize money is lower and many UK players compete when not in Grand Slam or ATP Tour draws — has historically had the most concentrated match-fixing concerns, as documented in the Tennis Integrity Unit's annual reports. It has also been the hardest circuit to follow via broadcast, given limited mainstream TV coverage. Polymarket's TDI deal covers the Challenger Tour in full, giving it a content library no UK bookmaker or broadcaster currently provides at scale. Twenty thousand matches per season represents near-complete professional tennis coverage. Whether expanded prediction market attention on Challenger-level events increases or decreases integrity risk is precisely the question that Sportradar will now need to monitor in real time — and the answer will be visible in the data before any regulator needs to make a policy decision.

Kalshi and Polymarket Are Now Taking Bets on Clinical Trials. Researchers Say That Is a Structural Integrity Problem.
Kalshi and Polymarket have begun offering prediction market contracts on the outcomes of clinical drug trials and US FDA approval decisions. Clinical trial investigators say the markets create direct financial incentives for people with trial access — pharmacists, coordinators, researchers — to tamper with results. Kalshi argues the markets are no different from biotech short sellers in the stock market. Critics describe the entire category as 'ghastly.'
